Open days at the Town Hall in Old Town Square!

If you are planning to visit Prague between the 16th and 18th September , don’t miss the opportunity! This weekend wil be worth the visit! So read on!

Between these dates, you’ll have the chance to see a complex of historic buildings of the Old Town Hall. The majority of areas are not widely open to the general public through the rest of the year.

Friday's special evening tour will give access to the Town Hall‘s array of rooms and buildings, and for the first time in history - all 14 historic buildings of the Town Hall will be accessible.

The doors will open once again on Saturday, where you’ll have the chance to explore the lower underground areas of the Town hall houses, from which the Prague uprising at the end of the Second World War, was partially executed.

For children, the day will be an insight into the history of a beautiful house called U Minuty. Children will be able to make their own homemade graffito, under the guidance of experts, and with historic pennies provided they’ll be able to buy items from the medieval market.

Perhaps the biggest attraction on Sunday, apart from the guided tours, will be the unique opening of the Prague Astronomical Clock’s inner mechanism.

During these 3 days, there will be an interesting programme to accompany the opening days, including music, a medieval tavern, bridal salon, quiz with prizes and many other attractions.

You can book your tour from September 1, 2016 by phone 236 002 629 or e-mail staromestskaradnice@prague.eu.

So go ahead, we’ll see each other there!
